This website details information about the personal and professional life of Aditya Bondyopadhyay, and contains photographs that Aditya has take over his travels to many parts of the world, articles and papers that Aditya has written over time and other activities of Aditya Bondyopadhyay. It also hopes to set out the political thoughts of Aditya Bondyopadhyay on an ongoing basis.


Aditya believes that there is a need to protect and promote the basic human and fundamental rights of every individual, and that discrimination, prejudice, unscientific and unsubstantiated belief systems, and violence needs to be mitigated in a framework established by law, so that a situation conducive to the optimum realisation of human happiness for the most number of people can be realised. Aditya also believes that there is a need to ensure equity in distribution of resources in an eco-friendly and sustainable manner, so that the the finite earth can continue to support humanity and human civilisation for future generations.

Hi everybody,

Recently Barkha Dutt's show on NDTV called "We the People" had an episode on Surrogacy in India and I was invited as one of the experts. I did bring out the issues of surrogacy (and adoptions) vis-a-vis LGBT people in India. You may see the episoe here at the following link:
